The most fundamental eternal truth of the gospel is proclaimed in the name of Jesus. The LORD himself will save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:21). Paul declares in 1 Timothy 1:15 “The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am foremost.” But what are all the details to this fundamental & incredible declaration?
